Operational Engineer, with strong experience managing networking tools such as MS Teams, needed by a market leading insurance company based in central London. This role is paying £90k per annum plus benefits, with hybrid working.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of networking across the business, including identifying and delivering opportunities for continual service improvement across end user devices.
Key responsibilities:
Operational governance of internal / 3rd party service teams providing technical support
Identifying and delivering opportunities for continual service improvement across the networks, firewall, and telephony services
Operating, maintaining and monitoring the global networks and telephony infrastructure
Supporting ITIL processes – incident, change management and problem management
Managing 3rd party relationships to ensure suppliers are meeting and exceeding their SLAs
Completing regular internal system audits and controls activities
Required skills:
Demonstrable troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Extensive experience managing network infrastructure, WAN technologies, Cloud infrastructure and network security
Experience of managing outsourced IT services providers
High level of knowledge of Cisco Networking, Routing and Switching, SD-WAN, VMWare, Network Monitoring & Alerting, Network Traffic Analysis and Security products
