Operations Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and innovative Lloyd’s syndicate in an operations role that offers full exposure across the business. As an Operations Analyst, you will work closely with underwriters, directors, and other key stakeholders, providing essential support in post-placement operational services. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical individual looking to develop a career within the London insurance market.
You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, gaining hands-on experience in bordereaux processing, data quality reviews and operational efficiencies. With direct involvement in business-wide initiatives and a chance to contribute to process improvements, this role offers a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation in insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support across various functions within the business.
• Review complex warnings and failed validations from bordereaux processing.
• Ensure smooth and efficient bordereaux management, working closely with internal teams and external providers.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance underwriting efficiency.
• Support data quality initiatives by conducting sampling and reporting findings to management.
• Work closely with underwriting and claims teams to facilitate seamless operations.
• Assist in reporting and resolving risk capture queries from outsourced providers.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Ability to work with and analyse data effectively.
• Comfortable working with reporting applications and updating reports.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

A proactive and motivated approach with a desire to develop within the insurance industry.
