We are working with a high-performing Syndicate who are looking for a pricing analyst to join their established team in London. This role reports into the Pricing Actuary and will have direct contact with the Head of Pricing, Chief Actuary, wider actuarial teams and the underwriters. This role is a perfectly rounded opportunity working on all lines of business doing pricing transformation, BAU pricing, model development and creation, binder reviews, risk assessment and case pricing and all this makes is an exciting opportunity for a student actuary looking for an impactful and visible position where they can continue to grow and develop.
The ideal candidate will be a student actuary with a few years of general insurance experience, with a preference for pricing in the London or Lloyd's market, but our client are also open to personal lines pricing or other functions. Technical skills (HX Renew, Python, R, Java) and a keen interest in data science techniques are highly important for this role, as is being a confident communicator due to the visible nature of the position.
This role will require you to be in the office 2 - 3 days a week and comes with a competitive package.
