I’m partnering with a global insurance group entering a significant growth phase to hire a Product Owner for its international specialty portfolio. This role will be central to shaping their digital strategy and guiding delivery across multiple business functions.
Initially focusing on a Claims Transformation, experience working closely with Claims teams is advantageous.
Role Overview
Contribute to the digital product vision and roadmap across underwriting, operations, exposure management, claims, actuarial, and finance, ensuring all priorities align to the organisation’s ambition to double the size of the international business in the next 3–5 years.
Own and manage the programme backlog, translating opportunities into clear features and user stories, guiding agile teams through PI planning, and ensuring delivered solutions meet the product vision and deliver measurable business value.
Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to identify opportunities, assess feasibility and impact, shape strategic priorities, and ensure solutions are viable, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.
Drive delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement, partnering with architects and delivery teams, supporting business readiness and change management, and tracking progress, benefits, and optimisation opportunities.
What You’ll Bring
3–5+ years’ experience in a product, digital, or technology role, with insurance experience essential (Lloyd’s market strongly preferred).
Strong experience working in agile environments (SAFe/Scrum), with proficiency in tools such as JIRA or Rally.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and make effective decisions in fast-paced environments.
Package
Salary: up to £65,000 - 75,000/year DOE
Hybrid: 3 days per week in the London office
