A global specialty insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its high-impact Change and Transformation team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic programmes and key transformation initiatives across technology, operations, and underwriting.
The Role:
You’ll manage complex cross-functional projects from initiation through to embedding into BAU. This includes detailed planning, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and ensuring on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery. You’ll play a key role in refining delivery frameworks and championing best practice project governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end delivery of strategic and mid-sized IT and change initiatives
Own project plans, RAID logs, and stakeholder comms
Develop and maintain business cases and change control processes
Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business SMEs, and external vendors
Engage with senior stakeholders to report progress, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment
Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and PM frameworks
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience a Project Manager in the London insurance industry
Strong governance and documentation discipline
Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing, and vendor management skills
Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches
Comfortable managing competing deadlines across concurrent workstreams
Highly organised, solution-focused, and calm under pressure
