Join a leading global speciality insurer as a risk analyst to support and enhance the risk function for the enterprise risk management team. The role offers a salary of up to £45,000 and you will be guided by the Head of Risk.
Responsibilities:
To fully support the business in reaching its strategic objectives.
Support and enhance the risk function, you will review and challenge the risk framework's operations and make suggestions for improvement.
Undertake risk analysis using both quantitative data and qualitative information, and then put the results into the appropriate context.
Support the team across Enterprise Risk Management, Solvency II, Internal Model, Risk Strategy, Risk Culture, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Investment Risk, Operational Risk, Emerging Risks, and the Risk Controls Framework.
Supporting the improvement (ORSA) reporting processes is crucial.
In-depth analyses identified by the ERM function.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Risk Management
Essential experience within the non-life Insurance Market
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
Work on projects independently.
Have a basic understanding and knowledge of business models and underwriting products.
