The Risk Analyst will play a key role in supporting risk management activities and will report directly to the Head of Risk. This will involve substantial development of our governance, systems, processes, and controls to manage the risks associated with these changes effectively. As such, this role is crucial and dynamic. The person in this role is expected to engage with all areas of the business at all times.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and proactively implement the Enterprise Risk Management framework and processes.
Drive various risk management activities with determination, including extensive risk identification, monitoring, and reporting.
Take full ownership of maintaining the GRC tool and providing indispensable support to the business in its usage.
Forge and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and spearhead review activities of key functions such as Underwriting, Technical, Claims, Actuarial, and other areas of the business to thoroughly understand their priorities and risk issues.
Play a key role in firmly supporting the business to implement an effective control environment.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated understanding of commercial insurance.
1-3 years’ experience in Insurance
Strong capability to challenge and engage with risk owners to strengthen the risk environment.
Extensive risk management experience, including active involvement in key risk management processes such as rigorous risk and control assessments, incident management, and periodic risk reviews.
