Risk Manager

We are working exclusively with a highly regarded Lloyd’s insurance business that is looking to appoint a Risk Manager to strengthen its growing team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with real influence, visibility, and ownership across key areas of the organisation.

The Role
You’ll drive and challenge risk management practices, support framework development, guide junior team members, and deliver high-quality reporting to senior committees and boards. You’ll also play a key part in ORSA, stress & scenario testing, KRIs, risk appetite monitoring, and ongoing engagement with stakeholders to embed a strong risk culture.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and challenge risk frameworks
• Identify, assess, and monitor risks
• Lead risk workshops and maintain registers
• Prepare and present reporting to governance forums
• Manage risk appetite statements and KRI oversight
• Contribute to ORSA and reverse stress testing

About You

• Strong risk management experience, ideally in the Lloyd’s/specialty market
• Confident challenging senior stakeholders constructively
• Enjoys ownership, autonomy, and shaping risk processes
