I’m working with a fast-growing specialty insurance group that is looking to appoint an experienced Lloyd’s Risk Manager to strengthen its Risk Management function. This is a senior opportunity with direct visibility to executive leadership, offering a chance to play a key role in shaping and embedding the firm’s risk framework across its Lloyd’s platform and MGA businesses.
The Role

  • Lead the quarterly and top risk review processes across Lloyd’s and MGA entities.
  • Produce high-quality risk reporting for Boards and Committees.
  • Monitor and evolve syndicate risk appetites.
  • Manage and maintain syndicate risk registers, coordinating closely with compliance, audit and other control functions.
  • Respond to risk incidents and drive improvements in controls.
  • Support the rollout of a new GRC system.
  • Manage and mentor junior risk team members.

The Candidate

  • Strong experience in Risk Management within the Lloyd’s or broader London Market.
  • Solid understanding of managing agency operations and specialty insurance.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident operating independently and engaging with senior leadership.
