I’m working with a fast-growing specialty insurance group that is looking to appoint an experienced Lloyd’s Risk Manager to strengthen its Risk Management function. This is a senior opportunity with direct visibility to executive leadership, offering a chance to play a key role in shaping and embedding the firm’s risk framework across its Lloyd’s platform and MGA businesses. The Role
Lead the quarterly and top risk review processes across Lloyd’s and MGA entities.
Produce high-quality risk reporting for Boards and Committees.
Monitor and evolve syndicate risk appetites.
Manage and maintain syndicate risk registers, coordinating closely with compliance, audit and other control functions.
Respond to risk incidents and drive improvements in controls.
Support the rollout of a new GRC system.
Manage and mentor junior risk team members.
The Candidate
Strong experience in Risk Management within the Lloyd’s or broader London Market.
Solid understanding of managing agency operations and specialty insurance.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Confident operating independently and engaging with senior leadership.
