You’ll take ownership of onboarding new Coverholder applications and work across all forms of delegation; including master policies and distribution partners. With strong technical knowledge and a proactive mindset, you’ll be confident finding answers, supporting wider team queries, and deputising for the manager where needed.
The team oversee both Delegated Underwriting and Delegated Claims arrangements, so while prior DUA experience is ideal, those from a DCA background with the drive to broaden their expertise will also be considered.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the onboarding of new Coverholders, DCAs and Product Partners.
Support underwriters and claims teams with delegated authority queries, approvals and renewals.
Conduct checks across binders, line slips and master policies to ensure compliance and quality.
Collaborate with internal specialists including Compliance, Conduct, and Wording teams.
Monitor regulatory developments and support implementation across the DA function.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Deputise for the DA Manager and mentor junior analysts as required.
What you’ll need:
Solid experience in Delegated Authority; ideally underwriting, though strong delegated claims backgrounds welcome.
Hands-on knowledge of Coverholder onboarding, due diligence and Lloyd’s processes.
Strong technical grasp of binders, line slips and master policies.
Confident communicator who builds strong internal and external relationships.
