Our client is a large UK based insurer seeking a Senior Non-Modelled Exposure Manager to join their Exposure Management Team. The role involves managing exposures across all non-property commercial lines of business written by the UK General Insurance division across the globe. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analysing exposure data, developing and maintaining exposure management techniques, and working closely with underwriters to communicate portfolio aggregations.
The Senior Non-Modelled Exposure Manager's responsibilities include reviewing and analysing exposure data using proprietary models and tools, ensuring data quality and modelling accuracy, and working closely with underwriters to communicate portfolio aggregations. They will lead the process of maintaining, enhancing and developing processes as required. The candidate will also be responsible for developing Aviva’s exposure management techniques for non-modelled perils/territories and improving existing techniques, leading group non-property rollup processes and associated reporting requirements. They will also carry out data quality analytics and work with underwriters to improve the completeness, accuracy and appropriateness of key data inputs. Additionally, the candidate will lead technical research and investigations to support risk-based analytical research and trend analysis. They will support the automation of the reporting process to minimize manual intervention and have the opportunity for line manager responsibility.
