Senior Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join a leading insurance business.
 
This newly created role sits within the UK & London COO function, supporting underwriting operations and driving service excellence through both direct and outsourced teams.

You’ll play a key role in improving operational resilience, service delivery, and process efficiency across underwriting operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day service delivery for underwriting operations.
• Manage relationships with outsourced partners and ensure contract compliance.
• Support onboarding of new business lines, products, and processes.
• Act as a key contact between onshore and offshore teams.
• Lead a small team of underwriting operations coordinators.
• Monitor performance and SLAs, reporting progress to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT and Transformation teams to deliver system and process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and SOPs.

You will demonstrate excellent leadership in managing teams and third-party providers, with a data-driven approach to performance and problem-solving.
