The Role: As a Senior or Principal Recruitment Consultant, you will be instrumental in managing and expanding our talent pool, ensuring exceptional service delivery to client, and driving business development initiatives. The current vacancy is in our actuarial team, which is a job-rich desk with huge opportunity to bill. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Management:
    • Maintain and expand a dynamic talent pool of candidates, converting them into lasting relationships.
    • Ensure exclusivity with both new and existing candidates and clients through strategic networking and superior service delivery.
    • Rigorously adhere to our CRM systems (Bullhorn) and business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Client Delivery:
    • Independently negotiate client terms and manage contracts 
    • Develop a portfolio of loyal clients that contribute to a consistent flow of job vacancies.
  • Business Development:
    • Collaborate with the management team to craft and execute a robust business plan targeting new opportunities from both existing and lapsed relationships.
    • Generate vacancies through targeted promotions of candidates aligned with strategic business priorities.
    • Regularly produce and distribute content, including quarterly blogs, to build your personal brand and establish thought leadership in the industry.

  • Proven experience in recruitment, specifically within actuarial or wider insurance sectors
  • Strong track record of business development and client/candidate satisfaction
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
