Senior Underwriting Analyst

We are delighted to be partnering with a specialist Lloyd’s syndicate to support the recruitment of a Senior Underwriting Analyst.
 
The underwriting performance team plays a pivotal role within the syndicate, developing robust, collaborative relationships with the underwriting teams. In this role, you'll work closely with these teams to fulfil reporting needs, drive continuous enhancements, and shape strategy.
  
Key duties include;
 

•  Supporting initiatives to improve the quality of the data captured within the Underwriting Systems
•  Leading continuous enhancements to current processes and providing assistance on various ongoing projects across the broader business
•  Elevating Underwriting MI and Data Visualisation capabilities by crafting new and insightful Power BI Dashboards
•  Collaborating with Underwriting Management, Finance, and Actuarial teams to compile and finalise the Lloyd’s QMB submissions
•  Contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of data captured within Underwriting Systems

 
Given the dynamic nature of the team's responsibilities, adaptability and proactivity are vital traits, each day presents unique challenges, demanding a flexible mindset and a desire for problem-solving.  

The role will provide you a huge amount of exposure aross the whole business, in a syndicate that actively encourages personal development and internal progression.

You must have advanced Excel, experience using a data visualisation tool (Power BI, Tableau etc.), with SQL knowledge preferred but not essential.
