Syndicate Performance Manager

Arthur is working in partnership with a dynamic Lloyd’s syndicate that is looking to hire a Syndicate Performance Manager for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover.
 
This key leadership role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the syndicate at Lloyd’s. The ideal candidate will bring extensive industry experience, strong leadership capabilities, and ideally a proven track record in successfully managing syndicates.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive syndicate growth and profitability, while identifying new business opportunities.
• Oversee underwriting decisions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage SBF & quarterly reserving and aggregate exposures.
• Handle DUA metrics, bordereaux management, and Lloyd’s returns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with syndicate functions to ensure seamless operations across the business.
• Oversee the performance of the syndicate, including budgeting and forecasting.

 
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven leader with extensive experience in the Lloyd’s market as a Syndicate Manager.
 
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage syndicates effectively, drive profitability, and ensure strong financial performance.  A deep understanding of underwriting, risk management, and insurance market trends is essential for success in this role.
