Syndicate Reporting Accountant (12m FTC)

Syndicate Reporting Accountant | 12-months FTC | £80,000-£100,000 | London/Hybrid (2/3 days office based P/W)

We have partnered with a leading (re)insurance business to support with their search for a Syndicate Reporting Accountant for an initial 12-months fixed term contract based in London. This role will focus on performing monthly accounting close and assist the production of regulatory reporting on a UK GAAP and Solvency II basis for the groups entities. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Support junior team members to ensure accurate completion of GL and reconciliation work
• Prepare, review and submit external regulatory & internal management reports for the group
• Complete Lloyd's reporting (QMA, QMB, QF1 etc.) 
• Statutory accounts and underwriting year accounts completion 
• Support with Solvency II reporting (QSR, QAD and ASR reporting) 
• Assist in GAAP and STAT close

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements (GAAP and Statutory Accounting principles) 
• Lloyd's & UK regulatory reporting experience for specialty insurance 
• Lloyd's syndicate reporting experience 
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
