Syndicate Reporting Accountant | 12-months FTC | £80,000-£100,000 | London/Hybrid (2/3 days office based P/W)
We have partnered with a leading (re)insurance business to support with their search for a Syndicate Reporting Accountant for an initial 12-months fixed term contract based in London. This role will focus on performing monthly accounting close and assist the production of regulatory reporting on a UK GAAP and Solvency II basis for the groups entities.
Main Responsibilities
Support junior team members to ensure accurate completion of GL and reconciliation work
Prepare, review and submit external regulatory & internal management reports for the group
Complete Lloyd's reporting (QMA, QMB, QF1 etc.)
Statutory accounts and underwriting year accounts completion
Support with Solvency II reporting (QSR, QAD and ASR reporting)
Assist in GAAP and STAT close
Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements (GAAP and Statutory Accounting principles)
Lloyd's & UK regulatory reporting experience for specialty insurance
