Underwriting Assistant

Arthur is collaborating with a highly successful Underwriting Agency to find an Underwriting Assistant.

This role will support the Treaty underwriting team with day-to-day administration and data analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Extracting client data to support underwriting activities.
• Analysing data using database reports and specialized analytical tools.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and brokers.
• Assisting underwriters with administrative tasks.
• Preparing Exposure Management reports and calculating loss estimates.
• Conducting catastrophe modelling and data analysis to support reinsurance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional numerical skills, and the ability to confidently analyse large data sets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the industry.
