Are you detail-oriented with office experience and looking to step into your first insurance role?
 
We’re seeking an Underwriting Assistant to provide essential administrative and operational support to the underwriting team.
 
As an Underwriting Assistant, you’ll gain daily exposure to the underwriting process and work closely with underwriters. It’s an excellent opportunity to launch your insurance career within a leading City-based syndicate.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain documentation for submissions, policies and endorsements.
  • Work with underwriters to confirm required information.
  • Keep organised filing and monitor performance against SLAs/KPIs.
  • Develop strong working relationships with underwriting and wider teams.

 
Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Able to manage deadlines and work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
