Then this might be the opportunity for you, we have been instructed by one of the fastest growing Syndicates in the Lloyd’s market to help find their next Digital Underwriting Assistant. The role will be to provide professional and comprehensive administrative support to their underwriters. The team is very friendly, supportive and passionate about what they do. The team has done a lot of recruitment this year, but due to huge success, they are looking to expand the team even more! 

If you have a good understanding of how insurance works, have first hand experience in insurance and embrace all things technology, we would like to talk with you.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Underwriting e-Placement – Check and bind risks on e-placement platforms
• Underwriting Referrals – Manage endorsements and required escalations to the Portfolio Management Team when re-pricing is required
• Client Audits – Chasing brokers for premiums and renewals
• Maintain and monitor the flow of work between underwriting teams and the service provider to ensure items are addressed in a timely and accurate manner
• Monitor and handle broker requests and queries via the platform, including subjectivities of the quoted line, endorsements and claims
• Identify and implement opportunities for streamlining underwriting activity, including increased automation or use of the service provider
