I’m working with a fast-growing specialty insurance group that is looking to appoint an experienced Lloyd’s Risk Manager to strengthen its Risk Management function. This is a senior opportunity with direct visibility to executive leadership, offering a chance to play a key role in shaping and embedding the firm’s risk framework across its Lloyd’s platform and MGA businesses.
The Role
The Role
- Lead the quarterly and top risk review processes across Lloyd’s and MGA entities.
- Produce high-quality risk reporting for Boards and Committees.
- Monitor and evolve syndicate risk appetites.
- Manage and maintain syndicate risk registers, coordinating closely with compliance, audit and other control functions.
- Respond to risk incidents and drive improvements in controls.
- Support the rollout of a new GRC system.
- Manage and mentor junior risk team members.
- Strong experience in Risk Management within the Lloyd’s or broader London Market.
- Solid understanding of managing agency operations and specialty insurance.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident operating independently and engaging with senior leadership.
