Senior Lead Claims Adjuster – Aviation, Marine & Energy


About the Role
I am looking for an experienced Senior Lead Claims Adjuster to take ownership of some of the most complex and high-value global reinsurance claims. This is a chance to work at the heart of the Aviation and Marine & Energy markets, managing high-profile Treaty Claims and ensuring settlements that balance customer needs with sound business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on complex Aviation and Marine & Energy losses
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of Treaty Claims, working with brokers and cedants
  • Provide expert guidance on contractual and legal issues to Underwriters
  • Contribute to audits and reviews to support underwriting and actuarial functions
  • Build strong client and broker relationships, delivering superior customer service
  • Mentor and coach junior claims staff, sharing your technical expertise
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Underwriters, Actuarial, and Legal teams
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience handling senior-level reinsurance claims
  • Strong technical expertise in Aviation, Marine & Energy, or similar complex lines
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance regulation, legislation, and market practice
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to influence strategy
  • University degree or equivalent industry qualification (preferred but not essential)
