We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk Analytics Analyst to join a high perforiming Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. This role combines both quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, supporting the development, monitoring, and continuous improvement of their risk framework. 

  • ORSA Development: Draft ORSA sections as required, including forward-looking risk assessments, stress tests, reverse stress tests and supporting risk analysis.
  • Model Validation: Carry out validation activities allocated by the Risk Manager, ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Stress & Scenario Testing: Execute stress and scenario testing as directed, and document the outcomes of stress-testing and scenario-planning workshops for governance and reporting purposes.
  • Risk Management Framework: Support the Risk Manager in maintaining and improving allocated areas of the risk framework.

Role Overview The organisation is undergoing significant transformation, with teams across the business embracing new opportunities and placing customers at the centre of decision-making. Reporting to the Head of Risk, the role provides Group-level oversight of operational risk and internal control management. This includes risk reporting, monitoring the overall risk profile, and staying abreast of internal and external developments that may impact the business. There are multiple vacancies available, with opportunities on a permanent basis as well as fixed-term contracts (approximately 6–9 months). Key Responsibilities Risk Management Oversee Operational Risk through review and constructive challenge of risk profiles, key risk indicators (KRIs), risk events, and management actions, ensuring findings and recommendations are agreed and delivered. Contribute to assessment of the overall risk profile against Risk Appetite, taking into account internal and external developments. Support the maturation of Risk Appetite application by enhancing directorate-level risk and control assessments, including KPI, KRI, and KCI methodologies. Identify opportunities to digitise and automate risk management processes to improve efficiency and value. Collaborate with first line of defence teams to ensure out-of-appetite risks have appropriate action plans in place, supported by effective governance and monitoring. Highlight areas suitable for formal Risk Assurance activity to the Head of Business Risk. Promote a strong, risk-aware culture across the organisation and lead by example. Support the implementation and ongoing coordination of quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), including transition from annual assessment cycles. Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational risk policies, standards, templates, and tools. Engage in governance forums to ensure risk decisions are sound, proportionate, and well-informed. Maintain strong working relationships across all three lines of defence to reduce silos and enable cross-functional insight. Risk Reporting Contribute to executive and board-level risk reporting, including enterprise risk, solvency, and annual reporting outputs. Support refresh of Emerging Risk and Top Risk assessments through cross-business engagement. Assist with the effective operation of Operational Risk and Risk Management Committees, including scheduling, agenda setting, and production of high-quality papers that drive meaningful discussion and challenge. Regularly contribute to governance papers and commentary to ensure the operational risk profile is clearly articulated, aligned, and well understood at all levels. Risk Assurance Manager

Role Title: Risk Assurance Manager Salary:  £70,000 - £90,000 DOE Location: Multiple UK office locations available; hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in office) Role Overview: Plan and lead Internal Financial Control (IFC) testing (including regulatory and accounting standards such as Solvency II and IFRS) across an agreed scope of financial reporting processes. This includes IT General Controls (ITGCs) that are in scope of financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the annual assurance plan for financial reporting controls, including ITGCs, ensuring coverage of key financial reporting risks, emerging issues, and regulatory expectations. Work closely with Finance, Risk, IT, and Compliance stakeholders to challenge control design and operating effectiveness, and to support continuous improvement of the control framework. Provide subject-matter expertise on financial controls, including escalation of material weaknesses, identification of thematic trends, and control gaps. Coordinate and oversee external assurance activities where required, ensuring alignment of scope, minimising duplication, and supporting effective delivery. Lead continuous improvement of assurance methodologies, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes. Build strong relationships with process owners to ensure timely completion of testing, clear communication of issues, and effective tracking of remediation actions. Act as a role model for a strong risk culture, promoting clear standards and constructive challenge. Line manage a small team (typically 3–4 direct reports), subject to candidate preference.

We have partnered with a rapidly growing Pricing team to find them a Pricing Actuary to focus initially on HX transformation. This is a great opportunity to shape the pricing function and create best in class HX pricing models. The role is broad but includes: - Small team of two responsible for pricing across two MGAs. - Sitting with Underwriters, adding value on a daily basis. - Multiple lines of business including US property, Marine Cargo, Financial Lines and Cyber. - Initially model build heavy but this will balance out to have more strategic influence. - Study support could be offered but this person does not need to be qualified.
