Arthur are delighted to be supporting an expansive Lloyd's Managing Agent with their search for a Conduct Risk Officer.

Reporting into the Conduct Risk Manager, you will be responsible for routine Conduct Risk activities, acting as a subject matter expert across Conduct Risk and Complaints.

Key Duties

  • Support the Conduct Risk Manager in delivering the annual compliance plan, including all conduct risk and complaints workstreams.
  • Staying abreast of regulatory changes relating to Conduct Risk.
  • Providing oversight of the Conduct Risk framework
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for all Conduct Risk and Complaints queries, engaging with senior stakeholders in a confident and knowledgable manner.
  • Creating and implementing relevant training across Conduct Risk.
  • Acting as a team player across the wider compliance function
About You
  • Proven experience working for an Insurer (preferably a Lloyd's Managing Agent) in a first-line Compliance function.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current Conduct Risk, Consumer Duty and Complaints requirements.
  • Experience in using CareSmart or similar platforms.
  • Personable and an effective communicator.

Senior Compliance Analyst

Arthur are partnered with a leading P&I Club as they look to identify a Senior Compliance Analyst with a keen eye for sanctions to join their growing function. Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will possess a generalist compliance skillset with the ability to assist the wider team with a range of queries across the Group. Key Duties Maintaining license renewals, returns and TOBAs. Conducting due diligence and being able to accurately assess potential matches to sanctioned individuals or entities. Reviewing sanctions alerts and escalating potential sanctions matches, conducting outreach to appropriate stakeholders if required. Advising the business by analysing and applying relevant sanctions legislation to queries. Carrying out horizon scanning of emerging compliance risks and regulatory requirements. Carry out testing and delivery of the compliance monitoring plan, communicating findings and remedial suggestions. Supporting the wider Compliance team from time-to-time.   About You You will be an all-round Compliance person from within the Insurance industry, preferably on the Insurer side. Comprehensive understanding of sanctions and wider financial crime, with demonstrable experience in providing sanctions advice within the insurance industry. Understand the general principles of the Prudential Regulation Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority regulations and rule books (Regulators of jurisdictions worldwide is preferred, but not essential). Proficiency with sanctions screening software. A real team player with the ability to also work independently. Impeccable communication skills.
