Infrastructure Manager – Shape the Backbone of a Leading Insurance Platform

Are you ready to take ownership of a critical IT function in a fast-growing, highly regulated environment? This is your chance to lead infrastructure strategy for a dynamic insurance platform operating at the heart of the London Market.

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to design, implement, and optimize robust, secure, and scalable technology foundations. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and group-level IT leadership to ensure alignment with strategic objectives—while having the autonomy to innovate where it matters most.

From cloud and network design to vendor management and security governance, your decisions will directly impact business continuity and growth.

If you have 5 years’ experience in infrastructure management within insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated sectors, strong technical expertise across server, network, and cloud platforms, and thrive in a collaborative, high-performance culture—this is your next big move.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead infrastructure strategy and execution, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of core infrastructure.
  • Drive improvements in architecture maturity and governance.
  • Manage third-party vendors, contracts, and performance assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with PRA, FCA, and Lloyd’s standards.
  • Collaborate with Group IT on security, resilience, and regulatory alignment.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven track record in infrastructure leadership within regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of technology lifecycles and delivery processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Location:
London-based role, hybrid working (3–4 days in office).

Im working with a innovative personal lines insurer — they’re hiring a Modelling Specialist / Pricing Data Scientist to help take their modelling capability to the next level. This is a high-impact role with a lot of flexibility and innovation — they’re actively testing new techniques and tooling beyond traditional GLMs, including Databricks, Python, and new feature engineering approaches. What They’re Looking For:   Strong Python experience used in modelling, data handling, and coding reviews   GI pricing experience (personal lines ideally)   Strong academics, high-performing, ambitious, and collaborative   2–8 years’ experience — flexible depending on capability   Day-to-Day:   Building and testing new pricing models   Trialling and integrating third-party data enrichments   Reviewing peer code and strengthening internal model validation   Some interaction with wider stakeholders (reserving, finance) depending on profile   Core focus is on risk modelling, but with exposure to profitability analytics   The team is really forward-thinking and focused on technical excellence

Overview   This role sits within a global Actuarial Pricing & Analytics team that works on strategic, project-based initiatives rather than heavy BAU.   The focus is on:   Improving pricing and risk selection sophistication   Digitising pricing models and analytics   Delivering scalable, self-service MI and portfolio insights   It’s a central team working across lines, regions and stakeholders, rather than being embedded in a single product.   Key Points Worth Highlighting   Actuarial exams are not required (nor mandatory to study)   Open to candidates from pricing, analytics, data science, consulting, commercial or personal lines backgrounds   Typically suited to 1–2 years’ experience (pricing or data science background both considered)   Strong emphasis on learning ability, ownership, and delivery mindset   No line management responsibility   Flexible working arrangements supported   What They’re Looking For   At a minimum:   Strong numerate background   Interest or experience in pricing, analytics or modelling   Exposure (or strong desire to develop) in tools such as:   Excel, SQL   Python / R   Power BI / DAX (nice to have, not essential)   Someone comfortable owning analytical work and collaborating across stakeholders   Previous (re)insurance pricing experience is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
