Infrastructure Manager – Shape the Backbone of a Leading Insurance Platform

Are you ready to take ownership of a critical IT function in a fast-growing, highly regulated environment? This is your chance to lead infrastructure strategy for a dynamic insurance platform operating at the heart of the London Market.

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to design, implement, and optimize robust, secure, and scalable technology foundations. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and group-level IT leadership to ensure alignment with strategic objectives—while having the autonomy to innovate where it matters most.

Imagine being the go-to expert for infrastructure resilience, security, and scalability. You’ll influence architecture standards, drive operational resilience, and ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements. If you have 5 years’ experience in infrastructure management within insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated sectors, strong technical expertise across server, network, and cloud platforms, and thrive in a collaborative, high-performance culture—this is your next big move.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead infrastructure strategy and execution, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of core infrastructure.
  • Drive improvements in architecture maturity and governance.
  • Manage third-party vendors, contracts, and performance assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with PRA, FCA, and Lloyd’s standards.
  • Collaborate with Group IT on security, resilience, and regulatory alignment.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven track record in infrastructure leadership within regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of technology lifecycles and delivery processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Location:
London-based role, hybrid working (3–4 days in office).

The position offers exposure to a broad range of coverholders and third party administrators with the chance to influence best practice improve controls and help shape a developing audit framework. It is well suited to someone who enjoys autonomy structured work and engaging with stakeholders across the market. As a Delegated Authority Auditor you will be responsible for planning delivering and reporting on audits across delegated arrangements ensuring contractual regulatory and internal standards are met.
