A growing Insurance business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a SOX readiness programme within a complex financial services environment. This role requires a hands on delivery leader who can bring structure to ambiguity, work confidently with senior stakeholders, and drive outcomes at pace.
 
Responsibilities of the SoX Project Manager:
  • Mobilise and lead the SOX readiness programme, establishing effective governance, RAID management, delivery plans, and reporting cadence.
  • Plan and facilitate control gap assessment workshops, coordinating stakeholders and consolidating findings into clear, actionable outputs.
  • Partner with control owners to define remediation plans and actively track progress against agreed milestones and deadlines.
  • Produce concise, executive ready reporting and proactively manage senior stakeholder expectations.
  • Work closely with Internal Audit, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure alignment on documentation, evidence standards, and overall SOX approach.
 
Experience required by the SoX Project Manager:
  • Demonstrated, end to end experience delivering SOX programmes within financial services.
  • Strong delivery capability with a pragmatic, hands on approach and the ability to operate independently in uncertain or evolving environments.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, particularly across Finance, Technology, Risk, and Internal Audit.
 
Rate: £650 - £750 P/D Outside IR35 - Flexible
Location: London EC3A, 3 days per week
Contract Duration: 6 months

Syndicate Accountant Contract:  12-month FTC or Interim Location:  London (Hybrid – c.3 days per week in office) Start:  Flexible – up to 4 weeks’ notice considered Overview A growing insurance group is seeking an experienced  Syndicate / Regulatory Reporting Accountant  to support increased reporting demands and a number of finance transformation initiatives planned for 2026. This role will sit within a high-performing finance team and focus on regulatory and management reporting across insurance entities. While Lloyd’s experience is preferred, the hiring manager is open to candidates from the Company Market with strong UK Solvency and BAU reporting exposure. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and review of regulatory returns, including  annual, quarterly and solvency reporting Production of management accounts and supporting financial schedules Support year-end reporting processes and statutory accounts Assist with improvements to reporting processes, controls and systems Liaise with auditors, actuaries and internal stakeholders Support ad-hoc finance and reporting projects linked to ongoing transformation Candidate Profile: Qualified accountant or qualified by experience Background in  insurance finance reporting  (Lloyd’s, Company Market or both) Experience across  UK Solvency, regulatory or statutory reporting Lloyd’s returns exposure (QMA/QMB, US/Canada) desirable but  not essential Strong Excel skills; exposure to insurance finance systems beneficial Comfortable operating in a deadline-driven reporting environment

The role will suit a qualified accountant with strong  insurance reporting and financial control  experience. Whilst  Lloyd’s syndicate reporting  is ideal, candidates from the  Company Market  with robust  UK Solvency and BAU reporting  backgrounds are actively encouraged to apply.
