Arthur is currently partnering with a highly regarded global (re)insurer in the London Market to appoint a Pricing Manager into their Actuarial & Analytics function.
The role will report into a Senior Pricing Manager and offers an excellent opportunity for a pricing actuary to play a key role in delivering pricing insights and shaping underwriting strategy across the business.
This is a commercially focused and technically engaging role, combining hands-on pricing work with increasing leadership exposure. You’ll work closely with underwriting teams, contribute to portfolio performance, and support the continued development of pricing capability across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Leading and supporting pricing workstreams to deliver insight across multiple underwriting divisions
Building, enhancing, and deploying pricing models for use across the business
Conducting profitability, claims, capital, and segmentation analyses to inform decision-making
Partnering closely with underwriting teams to support strategic planning and pricing decisions
Providing ad-hoc analytical support on complex underwriting queries
Supporting and contributing to the development of capability within the Pricing & Analytics team
Acting as a delegate for the Senior Pricing Manager where required
Requirements:
Qualified Actuary (or equivalent experience within pricing/analytics)
Strong experience within London Market pricing or insurance analytics
Proven experience in building and deploying pricing models
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a rigorous, data-driven approach
Ability to challenge assumptions and contribute to robust decision-making
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working closely with underwriting teams in a commercial environment
