Working closely with the Head of Conduct Risk and key business stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm's conduct risk and product governance framework, helping to drive a strong conduct culture and deliver positive customer outcomes. What you’ll do
Support the ongoing development, maintenance and enhancement of the Conduct Risk and Product Governance Framework.
Conduct reviews and risk assessments of underwriting arrangements, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring remediation actions are completed.
Partner closely with underwriting teams to provide conduct risk guidance and support on regulatory requirements.
Monitor and analyse conduct-related management information, identifying key trends, risks and emerging issues.
Support product governance activities, including product reviews and assessments of customer outcomes.
Collaborate with Claims, Complaints, Compliance and Underwriting teams to ensure conduct risks are appropriately identified and managed.
Assist in the preparation of governance packs, committee papers and reporting for conduct-related forums and committees.
Attend governance meetings, take minutes, track actions and support the completion of agreed deliverables.
Produce and present management information to support oversight of products, customer outcomes and underwriting arrangements.
Work with Compliance and business stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are effectively communicated and embedded across the organisation.
Support the ongoing promotion of a strong conduct culture focused on delivering fair customer outcomes.
Who we’re looking for
Previous experience within Conduct Risk, Product Governance, Compliance or a related regulatory role within insurance.
Knowledge of conduct risk principles and current FCA regulatory requirements.
Experience analysing and reporting on conduct-related management information.
Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting practices and customer outcome considerations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
Ability to influence, challenge and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High levels of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
Knowledge of the London Market, Lloyd’s market or General Insurance sector would be advantageous.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Coverholder Oversight Assistant A great opportunity to join a growing London Market insurance business within its Coverholder Oversight team. This role will give you broad exposure across delegated authority while supporting the management of Coverholder relationships, due diligence and ongoing compliance. You will work closely with the wider business while building strong knowledge across the full Coverholder lifecycle. It is a good move for someone with early Delegated Authority experience who wants to broaden their technical knowledge and develop within a supportive team.
