Our client are seeking a qualified actuary with extensive Pricing and stakeholder management / engagement experience. Communication skills and the ability to look at the 'bigger picture' are highly important too.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing London Market business where delegated authority data is playing a key role in supporting future growth. You will take ownership of bordereaux activity across a varied portfolio with the freedom to improve how data is managed and used across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Underwriting you will have real visibility and the chance to make an impact. The business is investing in its data capabilities and this role offers the opportunity to improve processes, enhance reporting and help build a function that can scale with continued growth. Key responsibilities: Taking ownership of bordereaux processing across risk and premium data. Managing the mapping and validation of bordereaux through the bordereaux management platform. Reviewing data quality issues and exception reports while identifying recurring trends. Monitoring bordereaux submissions and ensuring information is received within agreed timescales. Producing accurate MI and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Acting as a key contact for Underwriters and third party providers on bordereaux queries. Maintaining accurate delegated authority data and records across internal systems. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual workloads. Supporting projects focused on data quality and operational efficiency. Keeping processes aligned with Lloyd's Market requirements and wider regulatory expectations. Experience you'll need: Strong experience working with delegated authority data or bordereaux within the Lloyd's Market. Experience managing the mapping and validation of bordereaux data. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Confident working with internal and external stakeholders. Good knowledge of Excel with Power BI experience beneficial. A Private Equity backed Lloyd's market Insurer have exclusively partnered with us on the search for an Assistant Accountant to join their group finance team of 5 and report into the Senior Accountant. Responsibilities will include; Lead the preparation of monthly/quarterly cash flow forecasts, assessing the funding requirements to highlight to the Financial Controller Ensure the purchase ledger processes run effectively by preparing, submitting and account for direct cash payments (cheque, global transfer or internet banking). Responsible for the preparation of month end and quarter end reconciliation work Maintain accounting the UK and Bermuda entities within the group including revenue journals and assisting in the preparation of the trial balance. You must; Either a graduate with a finance/mathematics degree or 1 years experience in a Finance role where you have a good grasp of accounting principles within Insurance or Financial Services Currently studying toward a professional qualification (AAT/ACCA) Posses a strong work ethic, collaborate well in a team and eager to learn and develop Ability to produce accurate work within tight deadlines and have a strong eye for detail Proficient with MS Office and Excel in particular Salary on offer is up to £35k + bonus, benefits (inc study support) and hybrid working.
