Senior Project Manager – Strategic Business Transformation
Location: London (Hybrid Working)

About the Opportunity A leading international insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives spanning organisational change, operating model implementation, business growth and operational improvement.

The successful candidate will join a high-profile transformation team working across multiple business functions, stakeholders and jurisdictions to deliver complex business change programmes within a regulated environment.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering initiatives that support long-term growth, operational excellence and organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic transformation programmes.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, project plans, RAID logs and reporting.
  • Coordinate multiple business, operational and technology workstreams.
  • Support implementation of new operating models, processes and ways of working.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across senior leadership, operational teams and delivery partners.
  • Manage programme risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
  • Facilitate business readiness, implementation and transition activities.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting to governance forums and senior stakeholders.
Experience Required
  • Strong Project or Programme Management experience gained within Insurance, Reinsurance, Financial Services or another regulated industry.
  • Experience delivering large-scale transformation, organisational change or operating model initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Strong governance, planning, risk and dependency management capability.
  • Excellent communication and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience operating within complex matrix environments.
Desirable Experience
  • Insurance, Reinsurance or Specialty Insurance markets.
  • International or multi-jurisdiction programme delivery.
  • Operating model transformation.
  • Business expansion or growth initiatives.
  • Regulatory change programmes.
  • Distribution, underwriting or operational change.
  • Third-party vendor and implementation partner management.
