This is a strong opportunity to join an established Delegated Authority function in a role that sits close to underwriting and claims. You will take ownership across key areas of the delegated lifecycle with exposure to onboarding, contract review, conduct and ongoing oversight. The role offers broad visibility across the business with regular interaction across underwriting, claims, brokers and delegated partners. It would suit someone with a solid grounding in Delegated Authority who wants to build wider technical knowledge and take on more responsibility within a growing team. Key responsibilities: Supporting the onboarding of new Delegated Authority arrangements from initial due diligence through to approval. Coordinating information from underwriters, claims teams, brokers and delegated partners to ensure approvals are completed on time. Reviewing Delegated Authority contracts and supporting the business in making sure appropriate terms and controls are in place. Acting as a key point of contact for delegated partners and internal stakeholders. Supporting the ongoing oversight of delegated arrangements including service standards, bordereaux activity and performance information. Assisting with conduct and product oversight activity including product reviews and governance requirements. Producing regular MI and reporting for the Delegated Authority team. Reviewing data and reporting to identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve existing processes. Working closely with wider operational teams to support an effective Delegated Authority service. Experience you’ll need: At least two years of experience within the London Insurance Market in a Delegated Authority, operations, reporting or insurance support role. A good understanding of Delegated Authority administration and Lloyd’s market processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to review information and identify key issues. Good communication skills with confidence working across different teams and external stakeholders. An interest in continuing to build your technical knowledge within Delegated Authority. Progress towards ACII would be beneficial but is not essential. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their Delegated Authority experience in a highly visible role with strong exposure across the business and clear scope to continue developing their career.
