This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established London Market business that continues to invest heavily in its delegated authority function. The role sits within a collaborative underwriting operations team and offers strong exposure across the full delegated lifecycle with genuine scope to develop technical capability over time. You will step into a hands on role supporting delegated underwriting activity across binders and line slips, working closely with underwriters and senior delegated authority stakeholders. The position offers excellent visibility, structured learning and the chance to build a long term career within a high performing delegated authority team. As a Delegated Underwriting Assistant Technician, you will support the day to day management of delegated underwriting arrangements, ensuring governance standards, controls and data requirements are met throughout the lifecycle. Key responsibilities: Supporting binder and lineslip renewals including circulation and tracking of renewal documentation Completing post bind checks and following outstanding subjectivities Assisting with new binder and lineslip reviews to support underwriting approval processes Supporting audit coordination and tracking actions through to resolution Managing ongoing due diligence activity across delegated arrangements Maintaining accurate records across Lloyd’s systems including DCOM Supporting product governance data reviews for delegated business Updating dashboards, MI and internal trackers Providing general administrative support to the delegated underwriting team Assisting with ad hoc projects as required by the Delegated Underwriting Manager Experience you will need: Previous exposure to delegated underwriting or delegated authority operations Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks to deadline Confidence working with data, documentation and internal systems Good communication skills and a proactive approach Comfortable using Microsoft Office with a willingness to learn new systems This role is ideal for someone with early delegated authority experience who is looking to deepen their technical knowledge and gain broader exposure within a supportive and well structured team. You will become a key part of a highly regarded underwriting operations function where quality, collaboration and continuous improvement are central to how the team works. In this role you will take ownership of complex bordereaux activity across multiple classes, working closely with underwriting, finance and claims teams to ensure data is accurate and meaningful. You will have the chance to contribute to better processes, support high level reporting and become a trusted point of contact for both internal teams and external partners. Key responsibilities Receiving reviewing and processing monthly premium risk claims and paid bordereaux Maintaining clear bordereaux schedules and ensuring timely ingestion into internal systems Validating data sets and reviewing mapping issues Investigating anomalies missing information or potential breaches within contracts Resolving data queries from third party partners and outsourced processing teams Supporting audit reviews from start to finish Working with underwriting to monitor binder performance and highlight emerging trends Collaborating with reinsurance teams to support the annual renewal process Producing regular MI for committees and senior stakeholders Escalating ongoing performance problems or repeated data issues Providing training to third party partners and colleagues when required Experience required Extensive experience working in bordereaux oversight and processing Strong knowledge of binding authority agreements and Lloyd’s reporting expectations Experience handling premium risk claims and paid bordereaux Advanced Excel with confidence using pivot tables and lookups A strong eye for detail combined with good communication skills Experience building strong relationships with brokers coverholders and internal teams This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of data quality wants to work closely with senior stakeholders and is looking to develop further within delegated authority operations. The role sits at the heart of underwriting operations and plays a key part in ensuring accurate high quality bordereaux data that supports performance tracking and decision making.  You will gain broad exposure across underwriting finance and claims while working closely with coverholders and third party providers. The position offers clear scope to develop technical expertise increase responsibility and progress within a collaborative and forward thinking environment. As a Bordereaux Analyst you will be responsible for the end to end handling of premium claims and risk bordereaux ensuring data is accurate timely and compliant with agreed standards. Key responsibilities Managing the receipt review and processing of bordereaux submissions from coverholders and third party administrators Validating data quality against binding authority terms and Lloyd’s reporting standards Cleansing mapping and uploading bordereaux into internal systems Investigating data issues anomalies and missing information Liaising with outsourcing partners to resolve queries and improve data quality Supporting underwriters with binder performance monitoring and MI Maintaining bordereaux schedules and ensuring deadlines are met Escalating recurring data or performance issues where appropriate Experience you will need Previous experience in a bordereaux analyst or technician role within the Lloyd’s market Good understanding of premium claims and risk bordereaux Knowledge of delegated authority reporting and regulatory requirements Strong Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail This role suits someone who enjoys working with data building relationships and taking ownership of their work while continuing to grow within delegated authority.
