You will take ownership of bordereaux activity across a varied portfolio with the freedom to improve how data is managed and used across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Underwriting you will have real visibility and the chance to make an impact. Key responsibilities: Taking ownership of bordereaux processing across risk and premium data. Managing the mapping and validation of bordereaux through the bordereaux management platform. Reviewing data quality issues and exception reports while identifying recurring trends. Monitoring bordereaux submissions and ensuring information is received within agreed timescales. Producing accurate MI and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Acting as a key contact for Underwriters and third party providers on bordereaux queries. Maintaining accurate delegated authority data and records across internal systems. Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual workloads. Supporting projects focused on data quality and operational efficiency. Keeping processes aligned with Lloyd's Market requirements and wider regulatory expectations. Experience you'll need: Strong experience working with delegated authority data or bordereaux within the Lloyd's Market. Experience managing the mapping and validation of bordereaux data. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Confident working with internal and external stakeholders. Good knowledge of Excel with Power BI experience beneficial. Assistant Bordereaux Manager This is a great opportunity to join a growing underwriting business in a hands on bordereaux position. You will support the management of binding authorities while taking ownership of key operational processes across risk and paid bordereaux. The role offers broad exposure across Underwriting and broker relationships. You will also support the onboarding of binders while developing your knowledge across underwriting operations and delegated business. Key responsibilities: Supporting the production of monthly risk and paid carrier bordereaux. Monitoring risk bordereaux against paid bordereaux and investigating any differences. Managing binding authorities in line with agreed terms and internal procedures. Supporting the onboarding of new binders onto Novidea. Working with IBA to reconcile paid bordereaux. Liaising with brokers to resolve remittance queries. Working closely with Underwriters to resolve operational issues and broker queries. Escalating issues where required to ensure a timely resolution. Maintaining accurate electronic records and filing systems. Supporting the administration of market underwriting platforms. Ensuring processes remain compliant with FCA requirements and internal procedures. Supporting wider projects across the team when required. Working in a highly visible role you will play a key part in shaping governance, improving oversight and supporting the continued growth of a diverse delegated portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Delegated Authority professional looking to lead a team, influence key stakeholders and drive meaningful improvements across delegated underwriting processes. Key responsibilities: • Leading the day to day management of the Delegated Authority framework across the business • Managing and developing a team of Delegated Authority Analysts while acting as the technical referral point for complex queries • Taking ownership of the onboarding and approval process for new delegated authority arrangements • Developing and maintaining delegated authority governance processes, controls and procedures • Managing the Coverholder audit programme including remediation activity and ongoing oversight • Monitoring delegated authority performance, identifying areas of risk and supporting renewal or remediation decisions • Producing high quality management information and reporting for senior governance committees • Working closely with underwriting, operations, finance, compliance and risk teams to ensure effective oversight across the delegated portfolio • Supporting process improvement initiatives, system enhancements and wider delegated authority projects • Building strong relationships with brokers, Coverholders, Lloyd's and other external stakeholders while providing technical guidance across the business Experience you'll need: • Strong Delegated Authority experience gained within the Lloyd's or London Market • Excellent understanding of delegated authority governance, Coverholder oversight and Lloyd's requirements • Experience managing delegated authority onboarding, audits and ongoing oversight activities • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels • Experience producing management information and driving process improvements • Knowledge of Lloyd's systems such as ATLAS, DCOM, DAM and related delegated authority platforms would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Delegated Authority professional looking to step into a leadership position where you will have genuine influence, clear visibility across the business and the opportunity to shape the future of the delegated authority function.
