Are you an experienced Marine claims professional ready to take the next step in your career? I am looking for a Marine Claims Handler to manage, assess, and adjust a variety of marine claims with accuracy, integrity, and efficiency.

What you’ll do:
  • Handle Marine claims independently and within authority limits
  • Work closely with senior claims managers, underwriters, and stakeholders
  • Liaise with brokers, policyholders, and reinsurance teams
  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting and proactive claims management
Who I am looking for:
  • Proven experience in Marine claims preferably in Marine Liability and Marine Cargo
  • Strong understanding of general insurance principles
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ambition to progress towards professional qualifications (CII)

Project Accountant - Finance Transformation (Oracle ERP/EPM) London / Hybrid 6-Month Contract £550-£650/day (outside IR35) Arthur Financial have partnered with a London Market insurer, who are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support the delivery of a finance modernisation programme involving Oracle ERP/EPM.  The programme is currently mid-implementation, and the team requires an experienced finance professional who can quickly integrate into the project and support key workstreams across data migration, reconciliations, and system validation. We’re looking for a motivated professional to join a growing investment risk team within a global financial services environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, and risk reporting while supporting key stakeholders across the business. Role Overview The successful candidate will help monitor portfolio credit risk, support reporting for internal committees, and contribute to data analysis used by risk, finance, and actuarial teams. The role provides broad exposure to credit markets, structured assets, and portfolio risk management. Key Responsibilities Analyse portfolio credit risk using financial reports and rating agency data, helping to identify emerging risks. Support the development of portfolio monitoring indicators and assist in reviewing a range of asset classes. Prepare dashboards, credit notes, and materials for internal committees and portfolio reviews. Maintain credit databases and assist with periodic verification and capital reporting processes. Arthur is supporting a growing Lloyd’s market managing agency that writes a diverse portfolio of specialty insurance and reinsurance business. The organisation is known for its collaborative culture, strong technical capability and entrepreneurial approach, offering actuarial professionals broad exposure across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a reserving analyst looking to take the next step in their career to a Senior Reserving Analyst position. You will be working closely with the Head of Reserving and the wider actuarial team, and will play a key role in the quarterly reserving process and technical provisions work, while helping the business understand performance, emerging trends and reserve uncertainty. Responsibilities Support the quarterly reserving process across multiple lines of business. Analyse development trends and performance, highlighting areas of risk or opportunity. Assist in calculating and communicating reserve uncertainty and ranges. Contribute to technical provisions calculations, validations and regulatory reporting. Review gross and ceded data to ensure reserving inputs are robust and well controlled. Identify opportunities to improve reserving methodologies and valuation processes. Requirements: Progress towards actuarial qualification, with at least 3 years of reserving experience Lloys experience beneficial, but not essential The ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights for non-technical audiences. Strong Excel skills; experience with reserving software or coding tools would be advantageous. A collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail. This role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to both technical reserving work and broader business insights within a dynamic Lloyd’s environment. A RTW in the UK without sponsorship is required for this role.
