This is a high impact opportunity to step into a visible role within a growing Delegated Authority and Technical Underwriting function, where you will play a key part in shaping product governance across a complex international portfolio. You will work closely with underwriting leadership, influencing how products are designed, reviewed and governed to meet evolving regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of product governance processes across the business, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks and internal standards
  • Support the approval and oversight of new products and material changes, ensuring robust challenge and governance is applied
  • Maintain and develop the product register, ensuring all products are accurately tracked and monitored
  • Oversee target market and fair value assessments, ensuring products deliver appropriate customer outcomes
  • Work closely with underwriting teams to embed product governance principles across day to day activity
  • Provide oversight of conduct MI and challenge data quality across delegated distribution channels
  • Support governance forums, including preparing committee packs and contributing to discussions at a senior level
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide guidance to the business on emerging requirements
  • Act as a key point of contact for product governance and first line compliance queries


Experience required:
  • Experience within product governance, delegated authority oversight or underwriting governance within the Lloyd’s or London Market
  • Strong understanding of FCA requirements and Consumer Duty
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide effective challenge
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to drive improvements and influence change

I’m currently working on a really interesting opportunity for a Non-Nat Cat Exposure Analyst / Senior Analyst to join a growing team in London. This role offers a strong blend of technical exposure management and broader market interaction, with a focus on non-natural catastrophe lines such as casualty, cyber, and specialty risks. You’d be: 🔹 Supporting the development of non-nat cat views of risk across multiple lines 🔹 Working closely with underwriting teams to translate data into meaningful insight 🔹 Contributing to key reporting (RDS, LCM, stress testing) and portfolio analysis 🔹 Identifying data gaps, model limitations, and opportunities to improve processes 🔹 Playing a part in shaping exposure management strategy within a syndicate environment It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys working with complex datasets but also wants visibility into how that work influences underwriting and business decisions.
