Key responsibilities:
Take ownership of product governance processes across the business, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks and internal standards
Support the approval and oversight of new products and material changes, ensuring robust challenge and governance is applied
Maintain and develop the product register, ensuring all products are accurately tracked and monitored
Oversee target market and fair value assessments, ensuring products deliver appropriate customer outcomes
Work closely with underwriting teams to embed product governance principles across day to day activity
Provide oversight of conduct MI and challenge data quality across delegated distribution channels
Support governance forums, including preparing committee packs and contributing to discussions at a senior level
Monitor regulatory developments and provide guidance to the business on emerging requirements
Act as a key point of contact for product governance and first line compliance queries
Experience required:
Experience within product governance, delegated authority oversight or underwriting governance within the Lloyd’s or London Market
Strong understanding of FCA requirements and Consumer Duty
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide effective challenge
A proactive mindset with the ability to drive improvements and influence change
