This is a fantastic opportunity for a Delegated Authority Analyst to join a high profile Lloyd’s syndicate in a newly created role. Sitting close to underwriting, you will play a key part in supporting the growth of the delegated book, ensuring strong governance, smooth onboarding and high quality oversight across all delegated arrangements.

You will gain exposure across the full lifecycle of delegated authority, working closely with underwriters, business partners and compliance teams. With a strong focus on technical development and stakeholder engagement, this role offers a clear platform to build your expertise and progress within a growing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the onboarding of new coverholders including due diligence and Lloyd’s applications
  • Managing ongoing and renewal due diligence across binders, lineslips and consortia
  • Conducting pre and post bind reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks
  • Providing technical support to underwriters and claims teams on delegated authority processes
  • Supporting approval processes including mid term changes and contract updates
  • Undertaking risk based assessments of third parties to ensure standards are met
  • Working closely with outsourced providers and internal teams to deliver delegated authority activities
  • Supporting the review of audit reports and tracking remediation actions
  • Using Lloyd’s systems to support registration, compliance and oversight activities
  • Escalating material issues and supporting governance processes across the delegated authority framework
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across underwriting, claims and operations
Experience you’ll need:
  • Experience within the London Market delegated authority space
  • Understanding of underwriting practices and delegated authority frameworks
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and binder control standards
  • Experience with Lloyd’s systems such as Atlas, DCOM or Crystal is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
