We're partnering with a fast-growing insurance business that is investing heavily in technology, operational excellence and data-driven decision making.
 
As part of its continued growth, the business is looking to appoint a Senior Underwriting Operations Analyst to deputise for the Head of Operations and play a key role in driving underwriting data quality, governance and operational improvement.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive underwriting data quality and governance across multiple systems.
  • Produce MI, exception reporting and support Lloyd's regulatory reporting (PMDR/CDR).
  • Investigate data issues and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Partner with Underwriting, Delegated Authority, Exposure Management, IT and Compliance teams to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support audits and help shape data governance standards.
 
You'll have experience in Underwriting Operations, Data Governance or Data Quality within the Lloyd's or London Market, with a strong understanding of PMDR, CDR and Bordereaux reporting, alongside excellent analytical skills and experience working with insurance data.

Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI (or similar tools such as Tableau or Qlik). Advanced Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF. Confidence communicating with and supporting non-technical stakeholders. Minimum 3 years' experience in an MI, reporting, or data analysis role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit professional to work on a diverse portfolio of structured, project and trade finance transactions across developed and emerging markets. The role offers exposure to complex risks, close collaboration with underwriters, and the opportunity to contribute directly to underwriting decisions on high-profile international deals. The Role As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring credit risk across a broad range of transactions and counterparties. Working closely with underwriting teams, you will provide detailed credit analysis and recommendations to support the evaluation of new business opportunities and ongoing portfolio management. Key responsibilities include: Conducting detailed credit analysis of obligors, borrowers, financial institutions and sovereign-related risks.
