Finance Transformation Business Analyst London | Hybrid | Insurance
A leading global insurer is transforming its finance function — moving from spreadsheet-heavy processes to a modern, data-led Workday environment. They’re not looking for another accountant — they need someone who can challenge how finance actually works. This will be a high-impact position across Finance, Data & Change, working with senior stakeholders (Finance, Actuarial, Reinsurance) to redesign how data flows into financial outputs. You'll be defining what future-state finance looks like — and deliver it
What You’ll Do
Lead as-is → to-be process redesign
Design the Finance Target Operating Model (TOM) (people, process, systems, data)
Challenge inefficiencies (manual adjustments, data gaps, workarounds)
Translate spreadsheet logic into structured data models (Workday / Prism)
Drive requirements, delivery and UAT
The Challenge
Fragmented systems
Heavy manual adjustments
Poor visibility from data → general ledger
Goal: a controlled, scalable, data-driven finance function
Please note this is not for accountant-first profiles. Instead:

Ex-accountants now in BA / transformation roles
You don’t need to do the accounting — but you must understand and improve it. What You’ll Bring:
Strong BA / transformation experience
Insurance background (essential)
Ability to redesign processes, challenge stakeholders, and understand data → finance flow
Why Join
Own a core TOM deliverable
High visibility with senior leadership
