Ceded Reinsurance Analyst Location: London | Hybrid A growing specialist insurance and reinsurance business is looking to appoint a Ceded Reinsurance Analyst to join its London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in ceded reinsurance or the Lloyd’s/London Market who is looking to develop their career within a specialist, analytical and commercially focused reinsurance function. The RoleWorking closely with the Ceded Reinsurance Purchasing Manager, you will support the placement and renewal of reinsurance programmes, providing analysis and coordination across a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will play an important role in assessing reinsurance options and understanding their impact on risk, capital, profitability and overall business performance . Key Responsibilities Support the placement and renewal of ceded reinsurance programmes. Work closely with the Ceded Reinsurance Purchasing Manager throughout the renewal cycle. Coordinate activities, actions and deadlines across underwriting, actuarial, finance and exposure management teams. Build strong relationships with brokers, reinsurers and internal stakeholders. Analyse reinsurance options to support purchasing and negotiation decisions. Assist with renewal submissions and programme analysis. Produce analysis covering reinsurance performance, exposures and programme effectiveness. Support the preparation and administration of reinsurance contracts and endorsements. Assist with internal and external reinsurance reporting. Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen reinsurance operations. About YouWe are keen to speak with candidates who have: Experience within ceded reinsurance or a closely related reinsurance function. Ideally, experience within the Lloyd’s/London Market . A good understanding of reinsurance structures and their application to risk management. Knowledge of reinsurance contracts, accounts and wording. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
