An exciting opportunity to join a high-performing actuarial function as a Pricing Lead, overseeing two major lines of business with a combined portfolio of c£2bn GWP.

In this highly visible role, you will partner with a broad range of stakeholders across multiple regions, including the London Market. You will take ownership of key pricing initiatives while working closely with both actuarial and non actuarial colleagues, including Underwriters, Regional Heads, Senior Actuarial Leaders, the Head of Pricing, and the Chief Actuary.

This position is ideally suited to a qualified Pricing Actuary from either a direct insurance or reinsurance pricing background. Previous experience in the specific lines of business is not essential. Offering significant exposure to senior decision-makers and strategic portfolio management.

Excellent platform to progress into a Head of Pricing or Head of Portfolio position.

The Role As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring credit risk across a broad range of transactions and counterparties. Working closely with underwriting teams, you will provide detailed credit analysis and recommendations to support the evaluation of new business opportunities and ongoing portfolio management. Key responsibilities include: Conducting detailed credit analysis of obligors, borrowers, financial institutions and sovereign-related risks. Assessing structured finance, project finance and trade finance transactions. Reviewing financial statements, cash flow models, transaction structures and security packages. Preparing high-quality credit reports and recommendations for underwriting committees. Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying emerging credit risks. Supporting underwriters throughout the underwriting process and renewal cycle. Analysing political, economic and sector-specific developments impacting risk exposures. Engaging with brokers, clients, banks and other market participants as required. Candidate ProfileWe are keen to speak with candidates who have experience gained within: A Credit & Political Risk insurer OR A commercial or investment bank OR A recognised credit ratings agency Applicants should demonstrate experience analysing structured finance, project finance, trade finance or other complex corporate credit exposures. The successful candidate will ideally possess: Strong credit analysis and financial statement interpretation skills. Experience assessing complex financing structures and transaction risks. Knowledge of project finance, export finance, structured credit or trade finance products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to present clear and concise credit recommendations to senior stakeholders. A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
