A leading specialty insurer is seeking an experienced Property Claims Specialist to join its London Market claims team. This role will focus on handling a portfolio of delegated authority and property claims while working closely with underwriting teams, brokers, coverholders, and third-party claims administrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and adjust a portfolio of property and delegated authority claims within agreed authority levels.
  • Assess coverage, monitor reserves, and drive claims through to resolution in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, clients, coverholders, and other key market stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external experts, adjusters, and legal advisers where required.
  • Support underwriting teams with claims insights, portfolio updates, and renewal information.
  • Monitor delegated claims performance and ensure adherence to agreed service standards and governance requirements.
  • Review claims and bordereaux data, identifying trends, exceptions, and areas for escalation.
  • Contribute to catastrophe response activity and large loss management where necessary.
  • Assist with reinsurance notifications and recoveries.
  • Support ongoing process improvement, regulatory compliance, and claims reporting initiatives.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience handling Property Binder and/or Property Claims within the London Market.
  • Exposure to delegated authority business and claims oversight.
  • Knowledge of Lloyd's and specialty insurance market practices.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel and general IT proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of inwards reinsurance claims would be advantageous.

We have partnered with one of the most exciting new Reinsurers to find them two Reinsurance Pricing hires. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business/team and help scale a specialty book while working as partners with the Underwriters. The roles includes: - Two roles, one part qualified and the other up to a few years PQE. - Partnering with Underwriters across multiple Reinsurance classes, large pricing individual risks. - Develop reinsurance pricing tools and methodologies. - Provide market and portfolio insights for strategic decision making. - Assist the capital team with model inputs and scenario analysis. - Develop clear portfolio views and management information. - Support retrocession structures, including scenario testing ORE impact. - Analysis of new classes of business, ventures and strategic opportunities. - Support profitability, portfolio and capital impact assessments.

We are recruiting for an experienced Property & Casualty Loss Adjuster to join a well-established specialist insurance services organisation. This is a field-based role, requiring regular travel to policyholders, insurers, brokers and other stakeholders across the UK. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential. The successful candidate will also be expected to attend the London office 1–2 days per week. The role involves managing claims from initial instruction through to settlement, carrying out detailed investigations, assessing policy coverage, determining liability, negotiating settlements and authorising claim payments where appropriate. You will be responsible for investigating insurance claims to establish the cause and extent of loss, confirm policy coverage and ensure claims are handled fairly, accurately and efficiently.          Key duties will include: Receiving and acknowledging new claim instructions. Conducting site visits and inspections throughout the UK. Meeting with insurers, brokers, policyholders, claimants and other interested parties. Reviewing insurance policies, contracts and supporting documentation. Preparing detailed reports and providing recommendations on claim strategy and next steps. Instructing and managing third-party experts, surveyors and specialists where required. Maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders throughout the claims process. Assessing, negotiating and agreeing claim settlements. Calculating and authorising payments in accordance with delegated authority levels. Producing accurate final reports and claim settlement documentation. Supporting business development activities and fostering strong client relationships. Assisting with presentations, networking events and other client-facing initiatives as required.         You should have: 2–5 years' experience within Property & Casualty loss adjusting. A strong understanding of insurance claims investigation and settlement processes. Experience handling property and casualty claims from instruction to conclusion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities. The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a wider team. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Progress towards relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous, but is not essential.
