I’m working with a leading insurance organisation on the appointment of a Head of Enterprise Risk Management.

This is a senior, highly visible role with significant exposure to Executive and Board-level stakeholders. You’ll lead the development of the ERM framework, provide independent challenge across key risk areas and play a key role in shaping risk strategy across the business.

The Role An established specialty insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its UK legal team. This role will work in close partnership with underwriting teams, providing practical, commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of specialty insurance products and distribution arrangements. This role will be a trusted adviser to underwriters, supporting product development, policy wording negotiations, delegated authority arrangements, claims-related legal issues, and regulatory matters. The role requires an individual who understands the pace and commercial realities of underwriting and can deliver clear, solution-oriented advice that enables the business to achieve its objectives while effectively managing legal and regulatory risk. What you’ll do Act as a legal partner for underwriting teams across multiple specialty lines of business. Provide day-to-day legal support on underwriting decisions, product development, policy wordings, endorsements, and coverage-related issues. Advise underwriters on legal, regulatory, and conduct risks associated with new and existing products. Draft, review, and negotiate delegated authority, distribution, binding authority, and other insurance-related agreements. Support underwriting governance processes and ensure legal compliance across the product lifecycle. Work collaboratively with underwriting, claims, compliance, risk, and operational teams to provide integrated legal solutions. Deliver training and guidance to underwriters on legal developments, regulatory changes, and market trends affecting the business. Who we’re looking for Qualified lawyer with approximately 2-6 years' post-qualification experience. Strong expertise in insurance and reinsurance law, including insurance regulatory matters. Significant experience advising underwriters and insurance product teams within the Lloyd's and/or company market. Demonstrable experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating insurance policy wordings across specialty, property, and casualty classes. Strong understanding of underwriting operations, insurance distribution models, delegated authority arrangements, and product governance. Ability to build credibility and influence with underwriters and senior business stakeholders. Commercially focused with the ability to deliver pragmatic advice in a fast-moving underwriting environment.

This opportunity will suit an experienced architect who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, influencing technology strategy and working across a broad range of business and technology stakeholders. You'll play a key role in designing the future integration landscape, ensuring systems and partners can communicate securely, efficiently and at scale across underwriting, claims, finance and operational functions. The Role As Senior Integration Architect, you will: Define and evolve enterprise integration strategy and architecture. Design secure and scalable integrations across a diverse technology ecosystem. Establish integration frameworks, governance standards and architectural patterns. Provide technical leadership across programmes and business-critical initiatives. Partner with senior stakeholders across technology, data, security and the wider business. Support connectivity with external partners, service providers and market platforms. What We're Looking For We're interested in speaking with experienced architects who can demonstrate: A strong background in Integration Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture. Strong understanding of cloud-based integration technologies. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on solution design.
