Arthur’s legal expertise enables us to identify and secure top legal talent across commercial, regulatory, corporate, wordings, litigation, and claims support functions. We recruit for a wide range of roles, from company secretary through to general counsel and head of legal.

We partner with clients to make strategic hires, while supporting candidates in finding legal roles within insurance where they can drive impact, manage risk, and contribute to business growth.

This is a well-established, permanent legal desk with strong existing relationships on both the client and candidate side, offering an excellent opportunity for someone to take ownership and make it their own. It provides the chance to hit the ground running from day one and build on a solid, trusted foundation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Running the full 360 recruitment process within Legal
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and candidates
  • Headhunting and building talent pools
  • Achieving sales targets and consistently increasing gross profit
  • Helping shape the continued growth of our legal division
  • Keeping up to date with new trends, shifts and news in the Insurance market
  • Client & candidate in person meetings
  • Develop an annual business plan
  • Mentoring junior members in the team
  • Working closely with a team that collaborates, shares knowledge, and celebrates wins
  •  

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years experience in recruitment industry and experience within Legal
  • Confident communicator who builds strong relationships
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Ambitious, driven, and commercially minded
  • Someone who potentially would be open to management in the future
  • Team player who enjoys being part of a close-knit, high-performing group

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career analyst looking to build a career within actuarial pricing and analytics, working closely with underwriters across a diverse portfolio of business. The role offers broad exposure to Lloyd’s, portfolio management, catastrophe risk, and pricing analytics within a collaborative and supportive environment.
