Project Accountant - Finance Transformation (Oracle ERP/EPM) London / Hybrid 6-Month Contract £550-£650/day (outside IR35) Arthur Financial have partnered with a London Market insurer, who are seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support the delivery of a finance modernisation programme involving Oracle ERP/EPM.  The programme is currently mid-implementation, and the team requires an experienced finance professional who can quickly integrate into the project and support key workstreams across data migration, reconciliations, and system validation. A leading global insurance platform is seeking a Senior Reinsurance Accountant to join its growing reinsurance function as a specialist in a  fully remote  opportunity. This organisation is known for its innovative, technology-led approach to insurance and works closely with specialist underwriting partners to deliver tailored solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to play a key role in supporting reinsurance finance, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting, and effective coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders. Reporting into the reinsurance finance leadership team, you will support the day-to-day operational, reporting, and control activities across the reinsurance function. The role will involve working closely with internal finance teams, auditors, and other stakehodlers to ensure compliance, maintain strong financial controls, and support business growth.  = Key Responsibilities; Support the development and maintenance of SOX-level reinsurance controls Perform control testing and analysis to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness Act as a key point of contact during audits, coordinating requests and providing documentation to internal and external auditors Produce and maintain process flowcharts, control diagrams, and operational documentation Assist with quarterly and annual statutory reporting, prepare profit and loss reporting and produce and analyse cash flow reporting Contribute to strategic initiatives, including financial system implementations and improvements to the target operating model Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and best practices Perform analysis to support the continued growth of the business Act as a liaison between finance, underwriting, and other internal departments Provide guidance to internal teams on financial controls and regulatory considerations You must be;  Experienced reinsurance finance professional with knowledge of US GAAP Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Demonstrable experience of implementing financial controls and testing  Highly motivated and able to adapt in a dynamic and changing environment  Comfortable working autonomously and collaborating with stakeholders globally  Salary on offer is £100k - £120k (depending on experience)   20% bonus, benefits and fully remote working giving you flexibility to work from where you're most productive and fulfilled

Key Responsibilities Liquidity Cash flow monitoring (past and future), Internal reporting to Risk and senior management Contact point and admin for Performance Oversight Working Group   Banking Facility Oversight and Management Ensure paperwork and covenants are up to date Internal reporting to Risk and senior management Projects Manage the delivery of cross syndicate projects across the business and ensuring actions are completed and followed up. Supporting Syndicate Reporting To provide support to the team, as required, to meet Lloyd’s submission deadlines Onboarding Liaise with Business Development for the financials of (prospective) new clients Liaise with banks to ensure documentation and Know your Customer (KYC) completion runs smoothly Expenses and Interest Liaise with Syndicate Accountants to provide monthly expense and investment return reports to management Providing Non-Tech balances to Ops for use in internal board summaries Banking Admin Main point of contact for online banking enquiries  Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Excellent understanding and knowledge of fundamental accounting principles. Qualified in a professional qualification or qualified by experience is preferable. Familiarity and experience of Insurance or company analysis. With an FP&A or Treasury background. Excellent knowledge of IT systems including Excel, Vision and Sun Accounts. Highly numerate and ability to produce consistently accurate and analytical work to tight deadlines Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
