Regulatory Project Accountant - 24 month FTC London | Hybrid £90,000 - £100,000 I’m currently partnering on an exclusive mandate for a Regulatory Project Accountant to join a high-performing insurance finance team in the London market. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys a blend of BAU reporting, regulatory exposure, and project-driven work within a dynamic syndicate environment. The Role: Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will play a key role across both core reporting cycles and finance transformation initiatives, including: Supporting finance and reporting projects across the syndicate Delivering monthly close, variance analysis, and commentary Assisting with Board and management reporting Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and cash matching Supporting regulatory returns (Solvency UK, NAIC, TRIA, etc.) Preparing interim and annual financial statements Acting as a key contact for audit queries Driving process improvements and reporting enhancements What We’re Looking For: Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) 3 years’ experience within insurance (industry or practice) Exposure to syndicate reporting / regulatory returns highly desirable Strong Excel finance systems experience (reporting tools / automation a plus) Ability to balance BAU delivery with project involvement

IT Finance Analyst - 12 month FTC London (Hybrid)  |  £75,000–£80,000 Arthur Financial have partnered with a leading global insurance firm, who are looking to hire an IT Finance Analyst to support a busy and evolving IT finance function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with the numbers, taking ownership of forecasting and reporting processes, while also looking for ways to improve and evolve how things are done. The Role Own and support forecasting, budgeting and planning cycles across IT spend Deliver accurate and insightful reporting and analysis Work at a detailed level to understand and control actuals (costs, FTE, etc.) Partner with stakeholders across IT and finance to provide commercial insight Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and data quality Support the ongoing development and embedding of forecasting and reporting models What they’re looking for Strong experience across forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis Comfortable working at a granular / transactional level Proven ability to own BAU processes end-to-end Experience supporting or implementing process improvements or system changes Proactive, curious and motivated with a “roll sleeves up” mindset Strong stakeholder engagement skills Experience with tools such as  TM1, Anaplan, Hyperion or similar  would be beneficial

Interim Financial Accountant  London (Hybrid)  £500-£600/day (inside IR35) or £90,000-£100,000 FTC 12 months | ASAP start A London-based insurer is undertaking a significant merger project, bringing together multiple insurance entities as part of a wider group integration.  They are looking for a hands-on Interim Financial Accountant to support the consolidation of financials and delivery of group reporting, working closely with senior finance leadership on a high-profile transformation. This is a key role within the project, requiring someone who can get into the detail quickly and deliver with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Group Consolidation & Reporting Consolidate multiple trial balances into a group financial model Produce: Consolidated trial balance Primary financial statements aligned to the future structure Perform and document: Intercompany eliminations Accounting policy adjustments Support development of: Group management accounts Statutory-ready financial statements Build and enhance Excel-based consolidation models Technical Accounting & Advisory Support technical accounting assessments relating to the merger Document key accounting judgements and treatment decisions Assist across broader reporting areas (e.g. regulatory, tax, statutory) Contribute to integration planning and financial governance design Operational / Hands-On Delivery Work closely with finance teams to: Resolve ledger and reconciliation issues Ensure data integrity across entities Support audit queries and evidence gathering Assist with day-to-day financial reporting delivery where required Experience & Skills Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Strong experience in: UK GAAP (FRS102 / FRS103) Financial accounting / group reporting Experience with: Trial balance consolidation (preferred) Multi-entity environments Advanced Excel skills (including consolidation models) Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. financial services) Exposure to finance transformation or integration projects beneficial Additional Information Working alongside Finance Directors, finance teams and external advisors Initial focus on consolidation and reporting readiness Opportunity to play a key role in a live merger / integration project Fast-moving interview process (2 stages)
