Senior Financial Lines Broker – Global Portfolio (LATAM & Middle East) Location: London Working pattern: 4 days in office | Flexible start/finish times A leading international insurance brokerage is seeking a Senior Financial Lines Broker to join its established Financial Lines team in London. This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced broker to inherit and further develop a substantial global portfolio , with a particular focus on Latin America and the Middle East . This role is ideally suited to a commercially minded broker who thrives on client engagement, complex international placements, and long-term portfolio ownership. The Role Inherit and manage an existing global Financial Lines book , including D&O, PI, Crime and related covers Act as the primary broker for a portfolio of multinational and regional clients across LATAM and the Middle East Lead placement strategy with London and international markets, including Lloyd’s Provide strategic advice to clients on programme design, renewals, and risk structure Work closely with internal specialty, claims, and servicing teams to deliver a best-in-class client experience Identify organic growth opportunities within the inherited portfolio and contribute to new business where appropriate The Candidate Proven experience as a Senior Financial Lines Broker within a major brokerage environment Strong track record handling international Financial Lines placements Demonstrable exposure to LATAM and/or Middle East business is highly desirable Deep understanding of global market dynamics, wordings, and insurer appetites Confident communicator with the ability to operate at C-suite and board level Commercially astute, client-centric, and comfortable owning a portfolio What’s on Offer Immediate access to a well-established and transferable global book of business Competitive salary and bonus structure aligned to seniority and portfolio size 4 days per week in the office , with flexibility around working hours Strong platform, market access, and long-term career progression within a respected global brokerage

Location: London (Hybrid) Sector: Treaty Reinsurance | Credit & Surety Level: Associate / VP (flexible depending on experience) Our client is a well-established treaty reinsurance team with a strong franchise in credit and surety business , working with a diverse portfolio of international cedants. Due to sustained growth, they are seeking to hire an individual from a banking background , specifically with experience in structured credit, loan syndications, or related credit-focused roles . This is an excellent opportunity for a banking professional looking to transition into reinsurance while continuing to apply deep credit skills in a highly analytical and commercially driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Underwriting and managing treaty reinsurance programmes across credit and surety lines Analysing cedants’ portfolios, structures, and risk profiles, with a strong focus on credit quality and loss dynamics Supporting pricing, structuring, and negotiation of treaty terms Working closely with actuaries, claims, and portfolio management teams Building and maintaining relationships with cedants and brokers Contributing to portfolio monitoring, reporting, and strategic development initiatives Candidate Profile: Background in banking , ideally within structured credit, loan syndications, trade finance, or credit risk Strong understanding of corporate credit, structured transactions, and risk assessment Ability to analyse complex financial information and translate it into underwriting decisions Commercial mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills Prior insurance or reinsurance experience is not required , but an interest in the sector is essential Why Apply? Marine Underwriter - Lloyds syndicate Key Responsibilities: Assess, price, and underwrite new and renewal marine business. Analyse vessel data, cargo details, loss records, and exposures. Maintain broker relationships and represent the syndicate in the market. Monitor portfolio performance and support business planning. Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s and internal underwriting standards. Collaborate with claims, actuarial, modelling, and operations teams. Skills & Experience: Marine underwriting or relevant specialty experience. Strong analytical, technical pricing, and negotiation ability. Good knowledge of marine markets and regulatory requirements.
