What You’ll Lead As Senior Solution Architect, you will: Build system & application roadmaps that transform current-state platforms into cloud‑enabled, future‑proof solutions Create flexible, modular, reusable designs aligned to enterprise standards Provide architecture governance, design assurance and technology oversight Mentor engineering teams, review designs & code, and champion best practice Align tech direction with business outcomes, security standards and global governance Support Agile delivery teams and embed DevSecOps principles into solution design Evaluate new technologies and drive innovation through the organisation Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, engineering & security teams Own all non-functional requirements and ensure solutions meet operational expectations What You Bring This role will suit an architect with: Deep experience in insurance (Underwriting, Claims, Policy Admin, PAS, portals) Architectural leadership across transformation and modernisation programmes Expertise in Cloud, APIs, Microservices, Integration Patterns, Eventing & DevSecOps Experience with custom-built COTS/MOTS application landscapes Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF is a plus) Strong analytical thinking, communication excellence, and technical authority Ability to mentor teams, challenge assumptions and guide delivery at pace A hands-on mindset paired with strategic architectural thinking Guidewire or large‑scale policy administration experience is a significant advantage , but not essential. Our client is a paramentric insurance syndicate who are looking to hire an Exposure Manager for a 12 months FTC. The successful candidate will have expertise in catastrophe modelling or exposure management and practical experience using RMS to ensure exposure data is accurate and aligned, supporting effective underwriting, pricing, and reinsurance decisions. This role is key to ensuring compliance with Exposure Management (EM) principles across the syndicate.

This is a standout opportunity for a technically strong Delegated Authority professional who wants a clear pathway for development in their career. You will join a growing platform where delegated authority is central to the strategy, not an afterthought and where you will be trusted to run the day to day and shape how oversight evolves. You will gain full lifecycle exposure across binders and lineslips, work directly with coverholders and TPAs, and play a key role in designing smarter oversight processes with technology and data at the heart of it. Working closely with an experienced delegated authority leader, you will oversee a small but expanding portfolio of binders and lineslips across underwriting and claims. This is a hands on role suited to someone who has done due diligence, audit and bordereaux management end to end and now wants to step up into a senior position with greater autonomy. Key responsibilities Managing end to end delegated authority activity across binders and lineslips from onboarding through to renewal Conducting coverholder and TPA due diligence including pre bind reviews and ongoing assessments Overseeing bordereaux receipt, validation and challenge across underwriting and claims Supporting the claims team with onboarding and ongoing management of TPAs Engaging directly with coverholders, brokers and internal stakeholders to resolve data and governance queries Monitoring performance and identifying trends across underwriting and claims data Supporting audit activity and ensuring remediation actions are tracked to completion Contributing to wider operational initiatives including exposure management and outwards reinsurance activity Playing an active role in shaping how technology and automation can enhance due diligence, audit and data review processes This business recognises that delegated authority oversight will change rapidly over the next few years. You will be encouraged to think critically about how AI and data tooling can improve due diligence, slip reviews and audit analysis. You will be part of designing and embedding smarter processes rather than simply operating them. As the portfolio grows the intention is not to build a large team of analysts but to build a more efficient and technology enabled function. Experience required Strong experience within delegated authority in the Lloyd’s or London Market Hands on exposure to due diligence, audit and bordereaux management across binders and lineslips Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and delegated authority governance Confident managing stakeholders across underwriting, claims, compliance and finance Analytical mindset with strong comfort working with data Self starter who takes ownership and sees tasks through to completion Interest in how technology and automation can improve delegated authority oversight This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Analyst or a strong Analyst ready to step up, who wants a genuine route to grow and have company wide exposur as the book expands through the year and beyond.
