A growing financial services organisation is seeking an Operational Resilience & Third Party Risk Specialist to join a highly visible governance function.

This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience across Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Incident Management and Third-Party Risk, while working closely with senior stakeholders and helping shape key governance frameworks.

You'll support resilience initiatives, enhance supplier oversight, contribute to board-level reporting, and help the business navigate an evolving regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams

Syndicate Reporting Consultant Rate:  Up to £900 per day Contract length:  TBC (Likely 3-6 months) IR35 status:  Inside Location/working pattern:  2/3-days office based The opportunity We are supporting a Lloyd’s market insurer seeking an experienced Lloyd’s Reporting Transformation Consultant to support the development and readiness of its financial reporting framework across two syndicates. Working across Syndicate Accounting, Actuarial, Finance and Data teams, the consultant will take a hands-on role in building and refining Lloyd’s reporting templates, establishing data mappings and calculation logic, and implementing the reconciliations and controls required for upcoming parallel-run activity. This is a delivery-focused assignment requiring someone who can combine strong Lloyd’s reporting knowledge with detailed data, process and control experience. Key responsibilities Build and refine Lloyd’s reporting templates across two syndicates, ensuring alignment with Lloyd’s reporting requirements. Define and validate data sourcing and mappings from the general ledger and other finance, underwriting and actuarial systems. Develop and clearly document the calculation logic underpinning reporting outputs. Establish robust reconciliations between source data, the general ledger and reporting outputs. Investigate and resolve breaks, inconsistencies and gaps across data, mappings and calculations. Design and document end-user controls to ensure the completeness, accuracy and robustness of reporting templates. Produce clear documentation covering data lineage, mappings, calculation methodologies, assumptions, controls and processes. Work closely with Syndicate Accounting, Actuarial, Finance and Data teams to resolve issues and progress reporting readiness. Support testing, validation and preparation for upcoming parallel reporting runs. Identify reporting, process and control risks and provide hands-on support to resolve them. Essential experience Strong and recent Lloyd’s syndicate reporting experience. Detailed understanding of Lloyd’s financial and regulatory reporting requirements. Experience building, redesigning or materially improving reporting templates. Hands-on experience mapping data from general ledger and source systems into reporting structures. Experience developing calculation logic and source-to-report reconciliations. Strong understanding of reporting controls, including EUCs and audit trails. Experience documenting data mappings, calculations, assumptions, processes and controls. Ability to interrogate data, identify reporting breaks and drive issues through to resolution. Strong stakeholder-management skills across Finance, Actuarial and Data teams. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex reporting workbooks. Cyber Claims Adjuster (Hybrid) We are seeking an experienced Cyber Claims Adjuster to join a growing claims team and help deliver an exceptional claims experience to policyholders, brokers, insurers, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cyber claims from first notification through to settlement, while coordinating with internal teams and external incident response providers. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual with strong technical understanding of cyber incidents, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. The position involves working closely with claims, incident response, underwriting, finance, product, and technology teams, ensuring claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in line with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage cyber claims from notification through to resolution and settlement. Provide timely, effective support and guidance to policyholders and brokers throughout the claims process. Coordinate and collaborate with external incident response vendors, including legal, forensic, public relations, and other specialist providers. Ensure accurate reserving practices and identify opportunities for recovery where appropriate. Monitor claim developments, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations. Maintain strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, insurers, and service providers. Work with specialist partners to deliver cost-effective, high-quality incident response services. Handle claims administration activities, including electronic file management, reporting, and payment processing. Produce management information and claims data to support decision-making and portfolio analysis. Provide claims insights and feedback to underwriting and product development teams, identifying trends and emerging risks. Escalate complex or sensitive claims matters to senior management as appropriate. Skills & Competencies Strong experience managing relationships with external stakeholders within insurance, consultancy, professional services, or customer-focused environments. Strong understanding of insurance policy wordings and coverage interpretation. Experience dealing with cross-border or international claims and incidents. Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and operational considerations relating to cyber incidents across multiple jurisdictions. Experience working with incident response providers, particularly legal and forensic specialists. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Exposure to claims management systems is advantageous. Degree educated or equivalent professional experience.
