Azure Infrastructure Engineer (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global reinsurance organisation as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer. As the business continues to expand, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure that underpins its global technology strategy. This role is ideal for someone with strong Azure networking expertise, a passion for infrastructure automation, and experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities of the Azure Infrastructure Engineer: Design, build, and maintain secure, resilient Azure cloud infrastructure. Configure and manage Azure networking services, including VNets, routing, firewalls, load balancers, private endpoints, and API Gateways. Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot complex networking and connectivity issues across Azure IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments. Implement Azure security, governance, and compliance best practices. Monitor, optimise, and support cloud platforms to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Work closely with architects, developers, and security teams, producing technical documentation and low-level designs.   Essential Skills & Experience of the Azure Infrastructure Engineer: Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure. Strong expertise in Azure networking, including VNets, routing, firewalls, private endpoints, and load balancing. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform, and Azure DevOps pipelines. Strong troubleshooting skills across Azure networking and cloud connectivity. Experience implementing and managing API Gateways. Solid understanding of Azure security, governance, and compliance. Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.   Salary: £60,000 - £72,000 per annum Location: London EC3A, 3 days per week in the office, Contract Duration: 6 months Start Date: ASAP, up to 4 weeks notice

I'm partnering with a leading UK Financial Services organisation to recruit a  Business Continuity & Resilience Officer  into a well-established Risk function. This is a replacement hire within a small, high-profile team and offers the opportunity to work closely with the Risk Director, supporting the continued development of Business Continuity and Operational Resilience capabilities across the business. The role would suit someone with experience in  Business Continuity, Operational Resilience or Operational Risk within Financial Services or Insurance  who enjoys working in a governance and oversight capacity, engaging with stakeholders and helping embed resilience best practice. The Opportunity You'll operate within a second-line function, supporting resilience activities across the organisation and helping business areas strengthen their continuity and resilience arrangements. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting business areas with the creation, review and maintenance of Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCPs). Providing guidance, challenge and advice on Business Continuity and Operational Resilience requirements. Supporting Operational Resilience activities including process mapping, customer impact assessments and resilience reviews. Assisting with scenario testing, evidence gathering, documenting outcomes and tracking lessons learned. Coordinating Business Continuity Champions and supporting awareness initiatives across the business. Conducting third-party resilience and continuity due diligence assessments. Reviewing policies, standards and governance documentation to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance. Supporting resilience reporting and continuous improvement activities. What We're Looking For Experience within  Financial Services, Insurance, Banking or a Financial Services regulator . Previous exposure to Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Operational Risk or Technology Resilience. Strong understanding of BIAs, BCPs and continuity planning frameworks. Exposure to concepts such as: Important Business Services (IBS) Impact Tolerances Scenario Testing Operational Resilience Regulations Experience operating in a governance, oversight or second-line environment. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Ability to review, challenge and improve resilience documentation and processes. This is a high-impact opportunity to  shape and deliver enterprise-wide cyber security and operational resilience capability  within a regulated, business-critical environment. The Role Working closely with senior leadership, you will take responsibility for  defining and delivering cyber strategy, resilience frameworks and incident response capability , ensuring the organisation can operate securely and respond effectively to disruption. This role sits at the intersection of  technology, operations and risk , with strong visibility across executive stakeholders.
